This Dussera, the passengers travelling to Vijayawada to take the blessings of Goddess Kanaka Durga will see some special changes made by AP Govt.
The state govt has initiated arrangements for special trains that will operate in order to facilitate the growing rush of passengers during the festive months of Dasara and Diwali. These trains will be operational from Visakapatnam to Vijayawada and Dharmavaram.
Vijayawada-Visakhapatnam Puja special train (Train No. 07271 ) will leave Vijayawada at 11 p.m. on October 15th and 29th and November 5th and 12th to arrive at Visakhapatnam on the next day at 6.05 a.m.
On the return journey, the Visakhapatnam-Vijayawada Puja special train (train No. 07272) will leave Visakhapatnam at 10.55 p.m. on October 18th and on November 1st, 8th and 15th to reach Vijayawada on the next day at 5.10 a.m.
There will be stops in between at Duvvada, Anakapalle, Tuni, Annavaram, Samalakota, Rajahmundry, Nidadavolu, Tadepalligudem and Eluru. The trains will have one 2nd AC, one 3rd AC, seven Sleeper Classes, five Second classes and two Second class sitting-cum-luggage coaches for the travellers.
Another Visakhapatnam-Dharmavaram Puja special train (train No. 07273) will leave Visakhapatnam at 4.45 p.m. on October 16th and 30th and on November 6th and 13th to reach Dharmavaram the next day at 12.40 p.m.
On the return direction, Dharmavaram-Visakhapatnam Puja special train (train No. 07274) will leave Dharmavaram at 2.30 p.m. on October 17th and 31st and November 7th and 14th to reach Visakhapatnam on the next day at 10.25 a.m.
The above Dharmavaram trains will have intermittent halts at Duvvada, Anakapalle, Tuni, Annavaram, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Guntur, Narsaraopet, Vinukonda, Donakonda, Markapur Road, Cumbum, Giddalur, Nandyal, Betamcherla, Dhone, Gooty and Anantapur. They will have one 2nd AC, one 3rd AC, seven Sleeper classes, five Second class sittings and two Second class sitting-cum-luggage coaches.
