Snapshots of CM’s Two Day Visit To New Delhi

The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Sri N Chandrababu Naidu was in Delhi for two days to address some important aspects surrounding developmental plans for Amaravati. He also managed to cover most important meetings with the Union Ministers at the Centre to discuss various areas at length.

Here are some important snapshots of the CM’s Visit:

Mr Naidu had meetings with the Union Finance Minister, Home Minister, Agriculture Minister, Minister for Commerce and Industries, Minister for Civil Aviation, Minister for Surface Transport and Shipping, Minister for Environment, Minister of State for Tourism and Culture, Minister of State for Science and Technology.

He also chaired the fourth and final meeting of the Niti Ayog Committee on Swatch Bharat, which was attended by the Chief Ministers of Uttarakhand, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Mizoram, Haryana, and Ministers representing Sikkim and New Delhi, and senior officials representing West Bengal, that adopted the final report on Swachh Bharat.

The overall response of all Central Ministers has been positive and inspires confidence that the Central Government is making efforts to fulfill not only the assurances of AP Reorganisation Act but to provide all possible assistance to strengthen the hands of the State Government.

Special assistance of Rs 1000 Cr was granted to the state of AP by the centre post his visit. Niti Ayog Commission is also closely looking into the Special Category Status for the state by way of ongoing meetings and consultations.
