AP Pavilion inaugurated at INNOPROM 2016
Russia Trade & Industry Minister along with Union Commerce & Industries Minister today inaugurated AP Pavilion at INNOPROM 2016 in Yekaterinburg.
After the inauguration, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu addressed the India-Russia Business Forum. In his address, the Chief Minister said that Indo-Russia relations have a history.
“Andhra Pradesh used to export tobacco to Russia. India’s pharma major Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories also has a facility in Russia,” the CM explained to the audience at the Forum.
The Chief Minister explained to the audience that Andhra Pradesh is a 2-year-old state of India which is making progress despite a resource crunch.
Pointing to the Chief Ministers of Rajasthan and Maharashtra, the Chief Minister said that these states are competing with each other in development.
Explaining the strengths of Andhra Pradesh, the Chief Minister highlighted the investment opportunities for Russian investors in the state and assured ease of doing business in AP.
“I invite a delegation from Russia to Andhra Pradesh in order to work out possible synergies,” he added.
