The buzz has been going around in smaller tones about Ex Satyam founder Ramalinga Raju’s next venture. The word Call Health has been doing rounds in the business circles of Andhra and Telangana for quite some time. The word is out as the company officially kicked off operations this month.
Call Health will be run by none other than Raju’s daughter in law, Sandhya Raju. Sandhya turns an entrepreneur with this major business enterprise in the health sector.
Sandhya Raju is the sole promoter of Call Health, and has invested Rs. 60 crore in the company. The company was incorporated in 2013 as per Registrar of Companies records.
Call Health’s management is led by the key staff who played crucial roles in the erstwhile Satyam and Emergency Response Services (108), founded by Ramalinga Raju.
Call Health offers technology platforms to the end consumers and caters to urban healthcare needs.
“Based on an integrated virtual and mobility platform, we will provide a range of services at home, including doctor consultation, diagnostic tests, delivery of medicines, nursing and physiotherapy round the clock,” CallHealth’s newly-appointed Chief Executive Officer Hari Thalapalli revealed while speaking to a leading newspaper daily before the kick off of operations. Hari is a close aide of Raju since the days of Tech Mahindra.
Call Health has 900 employees on its rolls as of now.
