Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Sri N Chandrababu Naidu had shared the plans of the state government in the direction of creating homes for the poor through NTR Housing. CM had shared the strategy in detail, laying out the details of the plans for the common man to understand.
The CM had recently laid the foundation for the construction of 10,000 houses, and these houses will be constructed in a phase-wise manner and will be allotted to the respective beneficiaries who have been identified by our government.
Here is the detailed note from the CM.
“Providing a house to the poor has been one of my core plans and our government is working towards it, as promised. Under the NTR Housing Scheme, we are planning to build 6 Lakh houses for the poor.
on 14th April 2016, I laid the foundation for the construction of 10,000 houses. These houses will be constructed phase-wise and will be allotted to the respective beneficiaries, identified by our government.
I would like to inform you that previous governments have built sub-standard houses which were not liveable. Those houses drove people to live outside or rent them out.
What we are trying to do is give them houses which have pre-fab structures which can be built quickly, ensuring quality. I want people to proud of owning a house and in the process, it will become an appreciating asset for the poor.
My aim is to create a home for the poor through our housing scheme and I’m confident that we will achieve our goal.”
