Ram Mohan Nimmaraju started small, but made all the difference in the world to the few disturbed little souls. All the more reason why his NGO in Ongole, HELP, is now the toast of the country.

HELP received the prestigious National Award from the President of India, Pranab Mukherjee, aptly celebrating the Children’s day.

HELP has played a very significant role in changing the lives of distressed children. The non governmental organization based out of Ongole strives hard to empower the lives of children who really need help.

A cash prize of Rs 3 lakh was also given away by the Union Minister of Women and Child Development along with the citation at a function in New Delhi.

Ram Mohan has continuously been on the job, rescuing and changing the lives of few children who now see light at the end of the tunnel. HELP continues to tackle grass root problems such as child marriages. The NGO has a 1098 child helpline in place. Child trafficking is another area that the organization keeps working on, battling the existing hurdles in the form of non stringent laws that need to be improved.
