After the foundation of Amaravati, the spirits are high throughout the world. People are now more than eager to come forward and lend their bit to develop the new state of Andhra Pradesh. NRI’s of Andhra origin in particular are thrilled and determined to be an active part of this cause.
Adding to the list is the latest initiative to develop the Manginapudi beach located at 11 kms from Machilipatnam, Krishna district. The beach has also been earmarked for development under various AP tourism initiatives. While the revenue authorities have shared information about the availability of almost 100 acres along the coast of Machilipatnam for tourism development, NRIs also want to contribute their side towards the same.
Manginapudi beach will see a cleaning activity on November 1 st, planned as part of the Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan. This quiet and laid back beach usually sees a good traction during the Karthika Maasam, receiving many visitors every day.
As part of the tourism initiative on the hold, several attractions such as adventure sports, entertainment parts and coastal museums are being planned by the state government.
