Yes, AP can now get ready to make efficient digital payments when it comes to their electricity bills. Mobikwik, India’s largest independent digital wallet has now tied up with the Southern Power Distribution Company Limited in Andhra Pradesh.
This is a great move to make the state citizens go cashless with their power bill payments. It is known that Southern Power Distribution Company has the largest network across six districts of the state, comprising of 442 mandals. Mobikwik will ensure great penetration and usage of digital wallet that cuts down energy expended on tedious bill payments.
Incidentally, the digital wallet company has also seen tremendous increase in utility bill payments after demonetization effect. Mobikik now enables payments for 27 power discoms pan India.
CEO of Mobikwik, Mrinal Sinha spoke to the press to make the announcement lately. “In the wake of challenges being faced by masses in India due to demonetisation, MobiKwik is honored to help Southern Power Distribution Company Limited in their endeavor to adopt cashless payments and help the citizens of Andhra Pradesh in making seamless payments with assured security,” said Sinha.
