The Chief Minister’s recent visit to attend the annual meeting of World Economic Forum at Davos had turned out to be a pleasant reunion with past associations in business. Mr Naidu’s camaraderie with Bill Gates is very well known, going back to the days of Cyberabad in the early 2000. And now, there is another world reputed organization that intends to reunite with the CM one more time for the development of new state of Andhra Pradesh.
Mr Chandrababu Naidu had an elaborate meeting with Dominic Barton, Global CEO McKinsey & Co, where the former recalled his association with the company going back to 1996-97. He said McKinsey played a vital role for vision 2020 for the united Andhra Pradesh.
McKinsey is presently also serving as consultant to the Government of Andhra Pradesh to help mobilize private and global Financing for Amaravati. To this effect, Barton said that they will bring in best practices for structuring the city and market tourism and investment potential. He added that it is a privilege to be involved with this prestigious project. The Chief Minister asked Barton and Mckinsey to adopt best practices in the world towards building brand image for Amaravati.
McKinsey’s collaboration towards improvising the new capital city Amaravati and market tourism will prove exponentially beneficial, given the specs, scalability of operations and past records of the global player.
