Mana Gudi, a unique programme aiming at imparting knowledge about the Hindu Sanathana Dharma has begun at Tirupati. Mr Chadalawada Krishnamurthy, TTD Trust Board highlighted that the sole purpose of the programme is to educate the youth interested in learning principles and values about temples and Vedic scripts.
The seventh phase of the Mana Gudi program was conducted at Sri Padmavati Devi Temple in the premises of Sri Padmavati Degree and PG College on Saturday. After enlightening the students about the Hindu Sanathana Dharma and offering prayers, Mr Krishnamurthy distributed Govinda Raksha Kankanams (bracelets) to the students.
TTD EO Sri Sambasiva Rao stated that TTD Managament will take over the ancient Sri Kodandaramaswamy Temple located in Chandragiri. He said that the temple has a history of 500 years and was constructed by the rulers of Vijayanagara dynasty. Under the Mana Gudi programme, efforts will be made to bring back the past glory of the temple.
Mana Gudi Programme was also held vividly at Prakasam district.
