Little Archer Dolly Shivani Enters India Book of Records

Little ace archer from Vijayawada, Dolly Shivani achieved another milestone for herself as she entered the India Book of Records as the first mixed recurve archer of India. Three year old Shivani performed along with five other archers in various distances at the Volga Archery Academy in Vijayawada.

Initially setting a mark as the World’s Youngest Archer, Shivani now competed with peers, V Sai at 10m, Bilwesh Dutta Sai at 9m, Susanth at 8m, Virat Sai at 7m and Nischal at 6m to score more than the required points.

Viswaroop Roy Chowdary, representative of India Book of Records confirmed, “With Sushanth, she punched 95 points in 8m and 85 with Virat Sai at 7m. Along with Nischal she scored 110 points in a 6m distance”, he said.

Members of Volga Archery Academy like Chairman Cherukuri Satyanarayana were present during the event. Shivani haas become the person of interest for a five member film crew from United States, who will be shooting a special trailer on the archer, capturing the event.
