The final day of Japan visit saw Chief Minister Sri N. Chandrababu Nadu meet the executives of Komamura Corporation.
The successful enterprise operates in the domain of optics and manufactures view/technical cameras, pro-digital photo equipment and pro-broadcasting equipment that are useful in rescue operations during disasters on land and sea at night time.
Mr. Toshiyuki Komamura, the President of the company, told the Chief Minister that they are interested in establishing a manufacturing base for the lenses and cameras in India. “We will explore the possibilities of setting up in Andhra Pradesh and export our equipment to other parts of the world from AP,” he added.
Explaining the advantages of having a long coastline on the East, the Chief Minister said that Andhra Pradesh has the potential to become the logistics hub of South East Asia. He invited the company to visit Andhra Pradesh and explore the facilities available in the state.
