Sri K Chandrasekhar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana is all set to fly to Amaravati. Post receiving a personal invite from Sri N Chandrababu Naidu, The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, KCR has decided to fly to the venue at the new capital on 22nd October to attend the foundation laying ceremony.
The Telangana CM will fly on a chopper from Suryapet in Nalgonda district after attending another important agenda. Though there were vague assumptions about how the CM would commute to Amaravati, the Suryapet program has given a confirmed choice to KCR.
He will first leave for Suryapet on Wednesday to attend a program surrounding the construction of 2BHK houses for the weaker sections. As per his current tentative schedule, KCR would do a night halt at Suryapet and then leave for Amaravati by road, which is about 150 kms away.
Considering the heavy rush and the traffic conditions, it was advisable for the CM of Telangana to take the air route. Telangana State Govt had officially confirmed to a leading newspaper daily that KCR will immediately start back to Hyderabad after attending the Amaravati Foundation Laying Ceremony.
