Another add on to the mobile manufacturing hub called Andhra Pradesh. Infocus will soon join the existing list of ‘Make in India’ handsets being manufactured at Sri City. After Foxconn had kick started operations in Chittoor, there has been no looking back for the state with the growing number of mobile handset investors.
Make In India currently includes companies such as Xiaomi, Lenovo as well as ASUS. Infocus, a US based enterprise will join the mobile manufacturing momentum in AP with its budget range M260 handset. The device has been mind blowingly priced at Rs 3,999. All great feautures of a sophisticated smartphone now at an affordable cost in India.
The device will be produced at Foxconn’s manufacturing plant in Sri City. and will be sold in a variety of color options that include Orange, White and Fluorescent Green.
InFocus is currently selling this device exclusively via Snapdeal, along with its other variants in the Indian market. There’s no US rampant 4G LTE available here, and that explains the economic price tag. This means that the customers will have to make do with 3G with this handset.
