The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Visakhapatnam has begun its operations from a temporary building at Andhra University campus today.
Following a week-long orientation sessions, regular classes will be held from September 28 onwards. All the 60 seats at the Institute have been filled and IIM-Bangalore will mentor its Vizag counterpart for the upcoming two-three years.
The classrooms have been designed in a semicircle gallery model on the lines of Harvard Business School, as the teaching methodology will be case-study based.
The classes will continue in the temporary campus of AU until the main campus is finished with construction.
