During his visit to Tirumala yesterday, the Chief Minister placed the soil and water collected as part of the ‘Mana Matti Mana Neeru’ program at Lord Venkateswara’s feet. Now, the holy soil and water will be in turn collected from Tirumala to reach Amaravati on the day of the Foundation Ceremony on 22nd this month. The CM had also placed the official invitation card of the Amaravati Foundation Ceremony at Lord’s feet and prayed for good tidings.
Mr Naidu shared the update on the social media platform, reiterating on the eternal blessings of Tirumala on Andhra. He stated that it is the responsibility of his government to work towards developing Amaravati into a people’s capital. He praised the efforts of the citizens while contributing soil and water and also shopping for E bricks as part of My Brick My Amaravati campaign. He thanked each and every individual who forward and took part in the envisioning of Amaravati, the new capital city of AP.
Here is the detailed note from CM
As someone who always believes that our state has Lord Balaji’s blessings, I have today collected the sacred soil and holy water from the Seven Hills as part of “Mana Matti Mana Neeru” program and placed it at Lord Balaji’s abode.
This sacred soil and holy water from Tirumala will make its way to Amaravati and reach the venue on October 22nd.
In our government’s efforts to make Amaravati a people’s capital which will have the soil and water from every sacred place in the state, I have today sought blessings from Lord Balaji for our people and our state and placed the Amaravati invitation at Lord’s feet, seeking his blessings in our endeavors to build a world-class capital.
I’m also overwhelmed by the response for “Mana Matti Mana Neeru” as well as contributions to our “e-brick” crowdfunding initiative.
We still have three more days to go for our Big Day. I welcome and encourage every person to take part in this historic capital building process and make Amaravati a true People’s Capital in the world.
Let’s celebrate our foundation laying ceremony together, with Lord’s blessings.
