CM N Chandrababu Naidu met the Union Ministry at New Delhi yesterday and sought support in the development of Andhra Pradesh as an educational hub.
In a detailed meeting with Union Minister of State for Culture & Tourism (Independent Charge) & Minister of State for Civil Aviation Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Mr Naidu sought the Centre’s agile support for developing the new state of Andhra Pradesh as a prime center for education.
“We are ready to provide all possible support to the Chief Minister of Andrha Pradesh on the proposal for betterment of Tourism and Cultural centers of the Andhra Pradesh,” Dr. Manish Sharma said, in a statement to the media.
According to Dr. Sharma, there is immense possibility for tourism development in Andhra Pradesh. Going by the rich Buddhist heritage that transcends nations, the minister opined that there is a plenty of opportunity for AP to be one of the greatest tourism centers of India.
The Chief Minister also met with a delegation of representatives from Foxconn later and discussed about employment and other opportunities in Andhra Pradesh.
