Recently, Netherlands expressed interest in investing in AP. Now, it’s Australia’s turn to work with AP in fishing, diary & mining sectors. To this effect, a meeting was held between CM Chandrababu Naidu and Australian Minister for Energy, Citizenship and Multicultural Interests, Mike Nahan.
In a meeting with Australian Minister for Energy, Citizenship and Multicultural Interests, Mike Nahan today, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was informed that the country is interested to work with the Government of Andhra Pradesh in fishing, diary and mining sectors. Andhra Pradesh is known for its rich resources into fissheries, mining and diary. The CM has been constantly pitching the core strengths of AP to the world. To this effect, traction has now begun in the lines of international collaborations.
Mike Nahan showed extreme interest in the diary sector and said that Australia will work with Andhra Pradesh in marketing of milk as well as collaborate with the state in establishing a Mining University. The discussions were fruitful and turned a tide towards prospective development.
After the meeting, the Cabinet meeting began by paying floral tributes to former MP Sri Yerran Naidu on his death anniversary yesterday (02 Nov 2015)
