The award winning bus service of Andhra Pradesh steps up its operations towards the ongoing holy Krishna Pushkarams. The transport service has a mission to help out the flocking pilgrims with ease of commute when it comes to buses.
To this effect, APSRTC has announced to run 50 buses daily from all the bus depots of Chittoor district throughout 12 days of Pushkarams.
The regular passenger services to Vijayawada city will continue to stop at Gorantla bus station. From here, the city services will be operate everyday, and Pushkaram devotees will have convenience. There are two options when it comes to the routes – Amaravati and Sitanagaram.
“Amaravati services will go up to Amaravati ghats, while passengers bound to Sitanagaram will have to alight near Mangalagiri AIIMS, from where special services will be run up to Pushkar Nagar,” said V. Nagasivudu, Regional Manager of APSRTC Tirupati region, while speaking to a leading newspaper daily.
Additional services from various depots will also be run if the demand grows. All the buses will be run on normal fare only.
