CM N Chandrababu Naidu’s active efforts with measures to go cashless seem to have caught the attention of the Union Ministry. While the CM is busy trying to make the state go completely cashless, his many ideas to tackle the ongoing cash crunch have been lauded by the Center.
In a meeting today on the challenges following demonetisation, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu enquired extensively about Andhra Pradesh’s readiness to transition into a cashless economy.
While the Chief Minister was in the meeting, Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley called him to discuss on the impact of demonetisation. That’s not all, Jaitley had also requested Mr Naidu to head the committee of 5 CMs on demonetisation.
This development is a massive achievement for AP state government in totality, projecting the state at a different level in the areas of cashless economy and digitisation.
