With an aim to ease the problems faced by people in the state due to the implementation of demonetisation policy, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandra Babu Naidu said the government is planning to start a mobile App, ‘AP Purse’, to provide short term, middle term and long term benefits to the people. The state will go efficiently cashless with this initiative.

“I want to make Andhra Pradesh the first state in the country in the adoption of cashless transactions,” the CM said.

Mr Naidu said he has written letters to the Union Finance Minister to pump in more and more funds, along with smaller denominations, to the state to ease out the problems of the people.

With the introduction of AP Purse, people of Andhra will find it more convenient to make day to day transactions without cash. A sure shot mechanism that will enable the state to go completely cashless. This is a single minded initiative coming from the AP state government to make lives easier during the fight against black money and corruption. CM is imploring people to switch to digitization, the progressive way adopted by all successful economies in the world.
