AP, First State in India to Launch DNA Index System

Yes, criminals in AP will now have a very hard escaping the most prime evidence there is. Andhra Pradesh has now officially become the first state in the country to launch first of its kind DNA Index System. The new system developed by IntegenX Inc, United States is known as RapidHT DNA System and is the latest technology available in the world.

The DNA Index System will generate DNA profiles from samples taken in blood, saliva and buccal swabs. The profiles will be generated in less than two hours, apparently the fastest turnaround time as compared to the other existing technology that usually takes at least two days.

This DNA profile linking makes it twice as efficient to track down the criminals and solidify the evidence, speeding up trials and delivering fair justice.

CM Sri N Chandrababu Naidu has launched the system with a mission to make Andhra Pradesh the most crime free state in India.

The system was officially launched in Vijayawada by the Chief Minister in presence of Deputy CM, DGP and former police officials from Florida Police Department.
