Andhra University has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with China-based Ludong University for research and academic collaborations, in Visakhapatnam.
AU vice-chancellor GSN Raju and Ludong University president Bi Xianshun signed the documents. They also discussed various issues of mutual interest. Under the MoU, both the universities would develop short-term and long-term student exchange programs in the areas of teaching, publishing works and research collaborations.
Ludong University will send its students to study subjects related to their academic goals at Andhra University, while AU students will study Chinese language and culture classes at Ludong University. This creates a global cross cultural forum for both the students.
On the occasion, Bi Xianshun said that both the universities would collaborate in teaching, research and publications and exchange of students and faculty. GSN Raju said that the two universities were working with a common aspiration of improving friendship, education, culture and science exchanges.
This is a progressive move for the most reputed universities of India, taking a leap towards global affiliations and promising avenues ahead for the students in Andhra.
