TTD administration and on site teams have worked way out of their way this year in order to facilitate smooth and hassle free Darshan to the pilgrims visiting during Navarathri Brahmotsavams.
A statement made by the TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao revealed that Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams has set an all time record of having provided quality Darshan to almost 6.41 lakh pilgrims during Navarathri Brahmotsavams. The EO lauded his strong work force of TTD and also expressed gratitude to the pilgrims to have made this a event a collective grand success.
In a press release, Dr Rao said that this year, TTD has provided Darshan to 6,41,831 pilgrims, as compared to the 5,75,741 Lakh during the annual Brahmotsavams last month. “The unique feature is that the pilgrims had both Vahana Seva as well as Darshan in a short waiting period, which could be possible only with the efficiency of our staff under efficient monitoring system”, he said, while speaking to the press.
Below are some important highlights registered during 2015 Navarathri Brahmotsavams:
TTD has recorded an all time highest number of 25,73,717 Laddus distributed as against the September Brahmtosavams, where the count was 24,82,155.
Increase in occupancy ratio which recorded 94% in October as against the 92% in September Annual Brahmtosavams
Annaprasadam recorded for 17,780,841 pilgrims in October as against the 14,89,303 in September
Hundi collection stood at Rs.16.28cr in October and Rs.17.37cr in September.
APSRTC has operated 15,268 trips to transport 3,94,264 pilgrims in October as against the 14,869 trips to transport 3,75, 269 pilgrims in September.
The electrical illumination, floral decorations including Sand Art figurines, Moving 3D carpet, LED Screens, SVBC live coverage with Gimmy Jib cameras etc. stood as a special attractions gaining laurels from across the global pilgrims.
Services by Srivari Seva Volunteers, scouts and guides apart from TTD Vigilance and police personnel also won grand appreciation.
MR Rao admired the timely response from the Engineering wing to remove the boulders that fell on the Ghat road due to inclement weather conditions. The designing of galleries with proper Entry and Exit gates, Pushkarini gates for Chakrsnanam, round the clock services by Annaprasadam wing in queue lines, galleries, Annaprasadam Complex, sanitation maintenance by Health wing, 24X7 medical services also received full commendation by the TTD EO.
The work force of TTD is now empowered and enthused to offer sustained quality services even in the future.
