On a progressive move, Vijayawada based domestic air liner Air Costa tied up with SITA, world’s leading specialist in air transport communications and information technology. SITA will now provide its aircraft communications and state of the art flight tracking technology to the domestic carriers of the airline. Air Asia India is another airliner that also tied up with SITA, along with Air Costa.
The tie up that was announced yesterday (28 July 2015) paves the way forward for the deployment of new technologies that will help Air Costa real time during the route network operations on a daily basis.

Aircraft tracking is a mandatory requirement for all the domestic carriers. Besides this, Air Costa would also adopt SITA’s other solutions such as AIRCOM Server Online and AIRCOM Datalink Services, which collaborate with the airlines’ operations, crew management flight planning and maintenance software.
