Yanamala Charitable Trust, a newly founded foundation conducted its first job Mela in Tuni. The event that was organized under the supervision of Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu fetched a tremendous response from the job seekers in the region.
More than 6.817 candidates from various parts of Andhra attended the Mela. Out of them, nearly 700 were finalised for on the job postings while 2,185 individuals were selected for training.
Speaking to a leading newspaper daily on the occasion, Mr. Yanamala said that the main aim of his trust was to provide employment to the skilled youth in an industry which is looking for the development of industrial infrastructure as its main target. He also said that they wanted to fulfill the promises that were made in election to create jobs for youngsters.
The Finance Minister stated that 80 per cent of the revenue to the government now goes towards the salaries of the employees. In order to reduce the exchequer to the government, they are encouraging the industry to share the burden of unemployment.
