The 22nd edition of Confederation of Indian Industry or CII Partnership Summit, has successfully concluded yesterday at Visakhapatnam. The forum that saw some magnificent traction from investors at national and global level has thrown in a pleasant surprise for the new state of Andhra Pradesh. The summit has seen signing of MoU’s that will potentially cross 5 Lakh Crore.
This was no small fete for AP, considering the journey crusaded in the past one year, working hard to attract investments for the development. The two day Summit saw some very important debates and discussions held, identifying and tapping the potential spheres of the state while simultaneously gaining the attention of the investors.
There was a huge applause coming from all quarters, appreciating the visionary leadership of Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Sri N Chandrababu Naidu.
There were some shining winners too, with Rayalaseema, Vizag and port areas whipping the chunk of investments in over the agreements signed with players of all sizes and industries. Reliance Defence planning to set up its naval base with an investment of 5000 Cr rupees is a welcome sign, propelling most other investors to bestow their chances with the nascent Andhra.
