The long awaited deal between AP Government and Indo UK integrated health city is now sealed. 11 integrated health cities with 1,000 bed hospitals will establish their units in Andhra Pradesh under the public private partnership mode.
MoU that was signed will now propel the project faster with execution. Six Indo UK health clinics are planned to be set up in Visakhapatnam, and the rest will be planned and established across the state based on the local requirements.
The plans have progressed to this effect quite rapidly at the recent CII Partnership Summit, where the State Govt, Economic Development Board, AP Capital Region Development and Indo UK Institute of Health (IUIH) have locked the deal. The CM has been quite keen on bringing this project to the state and has constantly chased towards implementation.
The Indo UK Institute of Health has major plans of expansion in India, with states like AP, Maharasthra, Punjab, Karnataka, Odisha in its RADAR.
