CM launches 100 Mee Seva centres, taking the benefits of Mee Seva services to all the Panchayats of the state.
To this effect, the Andhra Pradesh State Government will have ‘MeeSeva’ centres in all Panchayats with a view to provide public services to citizens in a transparent manner, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said, after launching 100 Mee Seva centres.
“MeeSeva” (at your service) is a good governance initiative that incorporates the vision of National eGov Plan “Public Services Closer to Home”. The objective of MeeSeva is to provide smart, citizen centric, ethical, efficient and effective governance facilitated by technology.
The CM was presiding over the gathering after launching a new Mee Seva Centre at the new commercial complex in Seethmmadhara.
Over years, Mee Seva has become an intergral part of the state’s functionality, issuing prime documents to the citizens such as birth certificate, income certificate, land documents and others. Panchayats in the state will have faster access to the technology with the launch of new centres.
Currently, there are 485 MeeSeva centres in the district and another 100 will be added soon.
The CM s also spoke at length and said the state administration has been conducting a ‘pulse survey’ to gather details of all residents.
As of Saturday, the West Godavari district topped the state with the enumerators surveying 3 lakh individuals. It is followed by East Godavari (2.58 lakh), Anantapur (2.40 lakh), Prakasam (2.10 lakh) and Kurnool (1.45 lakh).
