The grandeur of Lord Govindaraja Swamy falls short of words, every time we make an attempt to even describe the feeling in mere text. The Lord’s charisma is world famous, as tens of thousands of pilgrims flock to Tirupati every year to see the iconic Avatar of Lord Vishnu transcend on the ground and shower blessings. The best part is undoubtedly the mighty armor or the Kavacham of the God.
The armor or Kavacham of Govindaraja Swamy is a poetry in itself. Such divine detailing which cannot be out into explanation in simple words. The holy Armor or the Kavacham has once again been unleashed and adorned on the deity during the auspicious occasion.
The three day annual Jyeshtanhishekam that had concluded on Sunday with the Snapana Tirumanjanam was a surreal rendition of Gods on earth. The Swamy’s Kavacha Pratishta was done one more time, sending in shudders of delight among his many devotees.
Special Pujas have been offered, seeking God’s grace. The centuries old Panchalola dieties were adorned with the Kavacham, and this mostly helps prevent corrosion of the idols.
Until next year, the visual divinity remains cherished in our minds and hearts.
