A Rs 220 crore expansion project is all that Andhra Pradesh had to look forward to, and looks like the same is happening in reality. Coromandel International, India’ s second largest fertilizer giant has now received the environmental clearance to open the shop in Visakhapatnam.
The company will raise phosphoric acid production to close to 1000 tonnes per day and other auxillary facilities are also being planned.
The company will be complying with all the due diligence requirements while initiating and sustaining this project. Approximately Rs 27 Cr out of the total budget will be allocated to managing several environmental management programs.
This is another great feather in the cap for the city that is about to bring on a fintech revolution.
