Uttarakhand CM seeks Lord Venkateshwara’s Blessings

It seems to be raining prominent people at the sacred shrines of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams since past one week. After Sri K V Chowdary and Governor of Andhra Pradesh Sri E.S.L.Narasimhanan, Sri Harish Rawat, the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, arrived in Tirumala to offer prayers to Lord Venkateshwara. He was accompanied by his family and chose to have the Maha Laghu darshan of Lord Balaji. He went along with other common pilgrims for the Darshan and viewed the presiding deity from a distance of over 60ft.

Earlier in the day, Shri. Rawat was warmly received by the TTD JEO at Shri Krishna Guest House. The temple priests and officials welcomed him at the entrance of the Sri Vari Temple and the TTD JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju presented him the Sri Vari Prasadam at Ranganayakula Mandapam.

The Temple DyEO Sri Chinnamgari Ramana, Reception DyEO Sri Rama Rao, Temple Peishkar Sri R Selvam and others were also present to greet the Chief Minister.
