The sacred abode of Kapilateertham in Tirupati slowly getting ready for the oncoming Navarathri Utsavams. Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTD) is a buzz with activity to observe the Navarathri Utsavams in the famous Lord Shiva temple at Kapilateertham from October 14th till 22nd.
During the nine days of the coming Navarathris, Goddess Sri Kamakshi Devi will be worshiped solemnly and will bless her devotees in different guises each of the nine days. She will appear as Sri Kamakshi Devi on October 14th, which will be followed by Durga Devi Avataram on October 15th, as Annapurna Devi on October 16th, Mavadi on October 17th, powerful Adiparashakthi on October 18th, as Lakshmi Devi on October 19th, Goddess Saraswathi on October 20th, Mahishasura Mardani on October 21st and the festival will conclude with Vijayadasami celebrations on October 22nd.
The famous Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam festival will be conducted on October 8th in connection with this calling in the divine Navarathris. Every day there will be scholarly discourses on Devi Bhagavatham and Lalitha Sahasra Nama Parayanam during these days.
