Vijayawada’s renowned Kanaka Durga Temple is all set to introduce the Trikalarchana Seva from December 14th. According to an official of the Sri Durga Malleswara Swamyvarla Devasthanam, the rituals will be carried out thrice in the day, starting at 6 a.m in the morning followed by another one at 10:45 a.m. and later at 4:45 p.m. in the evening.
The Antaralayam will be closed to the devotees except for the one who are interested in Ubhyadaata Seva. However, these devotees will have to pay INR1500 to get entry and pay their respects. The official further added that for the families who may be planning to offer “Antarlaya Arjita Seva”, only husband and wife will be allowed inside the sanctum. No children will be allowed into the antaralayam during the rituals. Devotees who visit the temple during the Trikalarchana Seva will be offered two Bhavani prasadams and laddus. According to temple EO A. Suryakumari, all the special darshans will be suspended on this day. However, the “sarva darshan” queue and the INR 100 queue will surely be there, which means devotees can still pay homage to the Goddess.
