Annual Brahmotsavams are all set to be observed from 2nd of October to 11th. TTD is gearing up with massive preparations to ensure smooth proceedings as well as grandiose rituals.
Devotees turn up in tens of thousands in numbers everyday during the Brahmotsavams, and there needs to be a clear cut information available to the pilgrims so that they are not left out in chaos and confusion. To this effect, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has decided to update all the prime landmarks of Tirumala on the most used Google Maps.
TTD Executive Officer D. Sambasiva Rao has directed the officials to distribute handbills indicating all the prominent landmarks of Tirumala. The same will be updated on Google Maps, for the ease and comfort of devotees.
With Google Maps, there will be lesser scope of getting lost while trying to get to the main destination points during the Brahmotsavams.
Apart from this, the management will also be unveiling a cultural festival program schedule in coordination with all TTD Projects and the Bhakti Channel – SVBC. TTD will also use the SMS alerts for the readers of Sapthagiri Magazine.
