The sacred Padmavati Parinayotsavam has successfully concluded at the divine Tirumala. Lord Venkateswara marries his favorite other half, Goddess Padmavati, every year as millions watch with dreamy eyes and devotion in their hearts.
The three day annual Padmavati Parinayotsavam is beautifully conducted by TTD, when Lord Malayappaswamy makes his way on the famous Aswa Vahanam to wed Goddess Padmavati.
The celestial wedding took place this year too, with religious grandeur in the midst of the chanting of vedic hymns by the pundits who rendered Rig, Krishna yajur, Sukla yajur, Sama and Adharwana vedas.
In the resounding harmony of Annamayya Keerthanas, tens of thousands of devotees have converged the tastefully decorated Narayanagiri gardens on Monday evening to witness the Unjal Seva of the deities.
The holy processional deities of Lord Govindaraja Swamy and his consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi, were taken out in a grand procession on the ‘Kalpavriksha Vahanam,’ on the fourth day of ongoing annual Brahmotsavams at Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple.
Since morning, devotees thronged in large numbers to witness the procession. There is a strong belief that the holy deities riding the celestial vehicle, Kalpavriksha Vahanam shower good fortune and fulfil several desires.
The wedding concluded on a divinely grand note, but the pictures from the event will continue to mesmerize for days to come.
