With the ongoing debate on special package that was accepted by the AP State Govt, CM Sri N Chandrababu Naidu has affirmed that while the state will accept what has been offered, he will not stop chasing up on the long pending special category status for the state.
The CM also made it a point to reply to Pawan Kalyan’s questions that were raised in his public gathering at Kakinada. Mr Naidu asked Pawan to ‘spell out’ the formula on achieving the special category status. He said that TDP will also welcome anyone and everyone who gives productive suggestions on the matter.
PK’s ‘Aatma Gaurava Sabha’ at Kakinada saw a huge turnout of fans and followers. Police were on the venue, offering tight security and control as the star addressed the public. Pawan Kalyan took to blaming Venkaiah Naidu in particular, along with the ruling government on not being able to achieve SCS for the state.
Mr Naidu replied very pragmatically on the matter, while addressing a press conference at Vijayawada. He conveyed a clear message that productive ideas matter more than making unwanted noise over the issue.
Meanwhile, CM will also be writing a detailed letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the Statutory status for the state.
