Secretariat at Velagapudi inaugurated
With Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu being busy with his China tour, Minister Ayyanna Patrudu along with Chief Secretary SP Tucker, inaugurated the Secretariat complex yesterday at 2:59 pm.
The fifth block of the Secretariat complex has been constructed in a record time of 132 days and nearly five departments will begin operations from today.
Employees belonging to the five departments have reached Velagapudi and have started working from the new Complex.
“YES…ఓ చారిత్రకఘట్టంలో నేటి మన అడుగులే భావితరానికి జాడలు…!” (Our footsteps today in history will create path for the generations to come) says Mr K.V.Krishnaiah, Chairman, AP.Gazetted Officers JAC.
There is a buzz of excitement, both on social media and real world, where the employees have been sharing all the updates about their movement. There is a great anticipation to operate collectively together from Amaravati as the base. People who have been doubting the move are now coming forth to enjoy their movement to Velagapudi.
The new secretariat complex will house all the major administrations of the state government. The fifth block is a hubbub of excitement now as operations are to begin slowly. Plans are on bring complete operations on board by the end of July.
