The settlers and the citizens in the Tenali and Guntur regions will now find newer and more convenient ways to connect with Amaravati.
Chief Minister of AP N. Chandrababu Naidu held a meeting with CRDA officials yesterday. During this meeting, the Government took a decision for a circular train covering Vijayawada-Tenali-Guntur-Amaravati.
The train route is expected to cover 105 kms with an estimated investment of Rs. 10,000 crores. The Chief Minister directed officials to submit a detailed report on the plan.
This development will prove to be a boon for local traders and businessmen while conducting business in the capital region. As of now, the region has a Vijayawada- Amaravathi Express that passes through regions such as Guntur, Narsaraopet, Vinukonda, Kurichedu, Donakonda etc. More trains in the long run would definitely improvise the situation for the locals.
