‘Innovative’ Surprise in Store for Amaravati

Yes, the happening momentum is soon coming to Amaravati. State of the art incubation and innovation centre will be set up in the people’s capital. The new incubation and innovation centre is the personal brainchild of Chief Minister, Sri N Chandrababu Naidu.

Mr Naidu, who is tech savvy and knows what’s the latest for the young generation, has envisioned this innovation center. The CM believes that state is now geared for all the change and what is latest in education and industry.

AP currently ranks number 5 in the field of education in the country. The CM wants to put the state on number 1 slot very soon. Initiatives like incubation and innovation centre will give boost to the young minds in the state. The level of learning and application has to be raised up the notch in the state and such centres will give optimal scope for advanced learning and innovation.

CM has always been very passionate about skill development in the state. He believes that skill development happens with right technology in place, which in turn leads to the development in totality.

For the state to develop, the CM believes that improving the standards of education in school, college and universities is a must.

The CM discussed with all the Vice Chancellors at a special review meeting, where he spoke at length about the plans ahead.

“An institute of incubation and innovation centre would be set up in Amaravati to train the students in entrepreneurship skills. Innovation chapters would be set up in high schools and incubation centres in all the districts.” he said

The CM opined that Andhra Pradesh should work towards education and compete with the likes of Silicon Valley in the areas of startups, innovation, and incubation.

Mr Naidu particularly was all praise for the students of Rayalaseema university for their active involvement in the areas of soil testing and drought mitigation programs.

The CM appealed to the students of engineering to involve themselves in the process of civil development. He asked other universities to take examples of such universities and work towards high level goals.
