If all goes well, NMC Healthcare company and UAE Exchange Group from Abu Dhabu will make this convention center a reality in the new capital city of Andhra Pradesh.

The sources say that proposed convention center will be nothing less than the famous Hanover Fair of Germany. The prospective investor and Group’s Executive Vice Chairman and CEO B R Shetty has showed his commitment to complete the convention centre project by the year 2018. Once the AP govt allots potential land towards the same, the project would be commenced at the estimated cost of Rs 12,000 cr.

The proposed convention center will easily accommodate as many as 10,000 individuals, will have features like five star hotel, exhibition center and an exciting amusement park.

CM Sri N Chandrababu Naidu discussed the project and told Shetty that state govt intends to render a world class capital city for AP. It has to be remembered that CM had signed an MoU with B R Shetty during his Abu Dhabi trip few months ago. This project will be the extended discussion of the agreement. The Middle East based group has cast its business eye on Amaravati and has also showed interest to shower investments into residential projects, hospitals and healthcare. The latter part will see the upcoming hospital in Amaravati that will have 1,500 beds, and the one in Kurnool will have 300.
