As part of the rituals on the second day of the Annual Jyesthabhishekam hosted in the Sri Vari Temple at Tirumala, Snapana Tirumanjanam (celestial bath) was performed on the processional deities of Lord Malayapaswamy and his consorts yesterday in an ambiance significantly pronounced by Vedic hymns.

The evening witnessed a procession of the deities around four mada streets as they were adorned with the surreal Muthangialankaram (famous pearl-studded armour).

Besides a handful of devotees, the event was graced by the likes of the TTD EO Dr Sambasiva Rao, Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, Deputy EO Temple Sri Chinnamgari Ramana, Peishkar Sri Selvam and Parupattedar Sri Doraswamy Naik.
