The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Sri N Chandrababu Naidu met the leaders of the Kapu community leaders. The meeting has been arranged at the CM’s Camp Office in Vijayawada.
Addressing the ongoing demand of the Kapu Community leaders, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu discussed the issue with them to find an amicable solution. He assured the leaders a turnaround time of 9 months to resolve the situation and arrive at an agreeable outcome for the community. The turn out for the meeting looked promising and highly responsive, indicating that the leaders were willing to sit across the table and sort out the differences. The community has been demanding its share of reservation being listed under the backward category.
Massive riots have been instigated a few days ago, with terrorist elements and vested interests said to be involved in the scheming. CM responded sternly to the atrocities at Tuni, stating that action will be taken on those who have masterminded the attacks. The usually highly populated train, Ratnachal Express was burnt down by these elements. It was also in his agenda to have a personal meeting with all the Kapu community leaders to understand their inner angst and address the same in a calibrated fashion.
