CM inaugurates AP Secretariat at Velagapudi in #Amaravati
The first greatest milestone has been set for the new state of Andhra Pradesh. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu had inaugurated the Secretariat yesterday (25 April 2016) at Velagapudi village in Guntur district. He added that the works at the Secretariat complex would be completed by June 15.
“We will start functioning from the Capital soon. This is yet another milestone for us,” he said, adding that the government is considering a 5-day week for the employees.
The construction of new secretariat had begun on time, meeting the deadlines beyond expectations. The employees of AP State Government are slowly gearing up to shift their base and operations to work out of Amaravati. This would mean, the new state will have all its administration activities set in place very soon.
The inauguration ceremony was a vibrant affair, with all the ministers and guests gracing the event with excitement and joy. There was a buzz of cheer and brightness about the place. The new secretariat is being planned with a great sense of architecture and design, that meets style, ease as well as convenience.
