Virat Kohli, India’s happening cricket sensation gave his two cents about the ongoing demonetisation drive. Kohli, who is going places with impeccable performance on the field, is all praise for the Prime Minister’s masterstroke on black money and corruption.
Virat spoke at the recent press conference in Vizag before the second test against England and called demonetization the ‘greatest move in the history of Indian politics’. To this effect, the star batsman also shared his very recent experience. Kohli was lately trying to pay his hotel bills in Rajkot with the old currency notes and realised that the old Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes were banned and of no use.
“I could have actually signed on it and given it to people. It’s that useless now” he said. “For me, it’s the greatest move that I have seen in the history of Indian politics. By far, hands down. I have been so impressed by it. It’s unbelievable what happened” Kohli added.
