Kavitha Kalvakuntla, MP and daughter of Telangana CM K Chandrasekhara Rao was one of the dignitaries who was invited for the National Women’s Parliament at Amaravati. While the other women leaders inspired young girls in their own way, Kavitha took the pulse of the crowd to a whole new level when she chanted an interesting slogan at the beginning of her speech.
Kavitha took off uttering “Jai Telangana, Jai Andhra Pradesh”, receiving a resounding applause from the audience. Head of Jagruthi, the organization mainly dedicated to revive and preserve the culture of Telangana implored the people of AP to strive and protect their own culture. She reminded the audience about the great responsibility to hand down the great legacy of the two states to the future generations.
She stressed on the fact that some of the great women of Andhra have excelled in several fields, including politics. The crowd went on to hear her speak, and Kavitha made a commendable impression on the first day of the Parliament.
