Roaring Rayalaseema – Growing Investments, Groundbreaking Projects

Written by

Not very long ago, a big break was caught by the Rayalaseema region. Palasamudram of Anantapur district will soon house India’s largest defence systems irrigation complex that will be set up by none other than Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL). This sets forth for the new emergence of industrial hub in the Seema region, holding a premise for the new direction in the lines of job creation and economic growth.

Rayalaseema region continues to get the attention of prospective investors from various backdrops and countries, who see an untapped space for revenue generation in the area. This is evident from the rate at which some credible projects have been tied up in the region in collaboration with AP Govt in the last 16 months.

The traction for new investors is great and astounding, looking at both the sizing of the project as well as its vertical. Nationally acclaimed retail players like Wipro Soaps, Brittania, PepsiCo have already locked their space in the Rayalaseema region. On the other hand, 1000 MW NTPC Solar plant is set to make Seema as one of its prime landmark of operations.

Other than this, various national electronics and manufacturing giants have also marked their territory. The illustrious list as of today includes AmaraRaja, VRLA Plant, DRDL, Jasraj Ispat, Birla Cement, NFC, Hero Honda, Foxconn, Lava, Micromax, Karbonn, Celkon, Textile Park and Jain Irrigation.

Foxconn is perhaps one of the first ground breakers for the region. An international giant with great repute, Foxconn moved its base from Tamil Nadu to Sri City in the Chittoor district and has already kick started deployment of core operations into mobile manufacturing. Sri City is already swarming with a hubbub of work operations and employment generation as the state’s new capital city has beckoned to take shape.

This apart, the new Electronics hub at Tirupati will see commencement of brand new projects and avenues. Lava International, India’s very own home ground set up into mobile making has sighted its next largest venue in Tirupati.

Apart from the new age industrial revolution, Rayalaseema will soon see a refreshing up rise of reputed educational institutions. Most prime educational foundations have made Seema their next base. Some of them are already on their way to jump start construction of their campuses.

Premier institute like IIT will soon come to Tirupati. IISER, Central University, IIIT and Urdu University will also commence their existence in the Seema demographics, drawing more possibilities and employment options for the locals.

With so much already on the move, further prospects are also expected to come to Rayalaseema. Boundless avenues and path breaking possibilities. Rayalaseema is ready to reckon the world as a busy hub of industry and education.
