Andhra Pradesh will soon have super fast access to power services in the state. Citizens will experience seamless facility in the form of new power app that will be launched in June. CM Sri N Chandrababu Naidu will be launching an all new power app on June 8th.
The Andhra Pradesh Eastern Power Distribution (APEPDCL) will be launching a new app that informs the customers about the status of power supply and power interruptions in any part of the State.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will launch the app on June 8 and the link will be uploaded to already existing pp ‘Vidyut Pravah’ said the Principal Secretary (Energy) Ajay Jain.
The app will also reveal current demand of electricity, shortages if any and surplus power available. On electrification, he said that five lakh houses did not have electricity till 2014.
Though the Central Government has given a deadline till 2019, we were able to complete it by 2016, he said. On solar energy, he said that the State stood second in the country after Tamil Nadu in the use of Solar energy.
