The MoU s signed between Mytrah Energy and Andhra Pradesh show boosted prospects in the field of power generation. The company has signed pacts worth 2,000 MW renewable power projects that value at Rs 13,000 Cr.
The MoUs that are signed comprise of 1,000 MW wind power and 1,000 solar power projects. The investment will attract employment potential of 4,000 skilled and unskilled workers, going by the company’s press release.
The locations chosen will be spread across eight districts of Andhra Pradesh. The company will evaluate five of these districts for the wind power potential. Mytrah plans to execute and implement the signed projects within three years from the day of attaining all statutory clearances from the state government.
This tie up will also propel Mytrah to become AP’s largest renewable independent power producer. The state had a targeted goal to add 18,000 MW capacity renewable projects by the year 2021-2022, that which also accounts for 10% of national target.
