All the buzz is now about the foundation stone that was laid for the upcoming International Science Museum at Alipiri. The 200 acre facility, which will be called as Brahmand, is expected to turn out into a grandiose dominion of science, research and knowledge for children.
Sources say that the special attraction will be the way Brahmand will dot the skyline of the temple city. The facility is expected to have seven globules that would flaunt all the latest equipment and showcase launch vehicles, combat aircraft, missiles, maritime warfare and zero gravity systems.
However, iThis museum has been built on the dreams of the late Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, the great scientist and missile man of this country. Students will also be accommodated for a brief stay in the premises to conduct their research and experiments.
The museum will focus largely on astronomy, and hence the title Brahmand. State of the art science equipment is planned to be installed at the premises to enable better learning for young minds.
